MAHILA ADVISORS

Gender & Health Experts
Mahila Advisors are subject matter experts, researchers and trained consultants serving as advisors to communities and organizations with respect to gender, health and sustainable post-disaster reconstruction.
Our experience working in disaster settings provides us with an understanding of the pre-existing social, political, and economic issues that intensify following a disaster.

Through an extensive partner network, both globally and locally, we aim to serve as a clearinghouse in identifying community needs and aligning them with service providers. We work with local people and support initiatives that best represent local needs therefore we aim to connect organizations to strengthen collaboration during response and recovery activities to achieve shared common goals.
